Frequently Asked Questions
FAQS
It can be connected to computers (via USB interface), tablets (with partial support for Bluetooth connection), mobile phones (with partial support for OTG function connection), as well as some professional audio equipment such as audio interfaces and synthesizers.
The MIDI keyboard is mainly used for music production. It does not have a built-in sound source by itself and requires connection to external devices (such as computers, synthesizers, etc.) to produce sounds. Its main focus is on inputting MIDI signals. In contrast, the electronic piano has its own sound source and can play independently. Besides the playing function, it also has some entertainment features such as automatic accompaniment.
For beginners or for simple music creation, a 25-key or 37-key MIDI keyboard is relatively portable and can meet basic needs; for professional music production, especially when performing complex classical music or large-scale compositions, a 61-key, 76-key or even 88-key MIDI keyboard would be more suitable, as it can offer a more piano-like playing experience.
Most MIDI keyboards require the installation of corresponding drivers when connected to a computer, to ensure that the computer can correctly recognize and communicate with the MIDI keyboard. Generally speaking, MIDI keyboard manufacturers provide downloadable drivers, but in our case, we don’t need drivers; it’s plug-and-play.
The feel of a MIDI keyboard differs from that of a piano. The keys of a piano have a heavy hammer sensation, while the feel of a MIDI keyboard varies depending on the model. Some MIDI keyboards simulate the heavy hammer feel of a piano, but overall, there are still differences in terms of touch and feedback compared to a piano. However, some high-end MIDI keyboards strive to closely approximate the feel of a piano to meet the needs of professional performers.
Sure. Our MIDI keyboard features a simple operation interface and supports connection to popular music teaching software. Some models even come with beginner-level tutorials and chord prompt functions. Novices only need to familiarize themselves with the basic keys and, with the software’s guidance, can gradually master the basic operations, thereby reducing the entry barrier.
The wireless MIDI keyboard is designed with low power consumption. With a fully charged battery, it can last for 8 to 12 hours (depending on the usage frequency); the wireless connection employs stable Bluetooth 5.0 technology, with a latency control within 10ms, meeting the real-time requirements of daily creation and performance, and there is hardly any feeling of lag.
Absolutely. The MIDI protocol is an industry standard. Our keyboard is compatible with new synthesizers, sound cards, DAW software, etc. Even if you upgrade your equipment in the future, the old keyboard can still be used as an input controller normally, avoiding resource waste and protecting your investment in the equipment.
